The past four years were full of difficult moments for us but now we take pride in ourselves on becoming a real brand. We have desperately fought to achieve this goal. We take it as a kind of appreciation that our products have been chosen by some 70 outstanding Hungarian gastronomical venues, - Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest, Salt Budapest – Michelin Starred - so now the public can meet and taste our pálinkas in more and more restaurants and hotels.
Szatmár, situated in the Upper-Tisza River region is a cultural area unitary both geographically and ethnographically, the great majority of which is registered as a nature reserve area of major national importance.
Different products and of course pálinka in the first place made from local endemic fruit types (like Beszterce and Dunno plums; apples like Batul, Eastern Rosemary, Jonathán, Girl’s tits and Sooty; Milota walnut) have excellent inner values and physiological effects. They are characterised by a markedly high content of antioxidants and vitamins besides their unique aroma world which cannot be mistaken. Almost each of them is a true gastronomical curiosity.
Szamosszeg has always been acknowledged of its persistent love for work and land. Furthermore it has also been an outstanding cradle of cultural and other spiritual benefits. People living here in Szamosszeg are well-known for their hard work, clear thinking and unconditional insistence on reality together with their clear and direct speech.
What does Szamosszeg mean for us? It is a revitalised heritage from ancient times. It is a tale which we heard from the old, from our grandparents in our childhood, a tale which through the glass of past times has crystallized into reality for us.
